Davide Montanaro
Biography

Born in Acqui Terme, he began studying the violin at the age of eleven. In 2017 he was admitted to the “Guido Cantelli” Conservatory in Novara, where he studied under Guido Rimonda, and later continued his training at the Accademia di Musica di Pinerolo and at the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory in Turin, where he obtained his First-Level Academic Diploma.

He has collaborated with major orchestras, including the Young Musicians European Orchestra, the Orchestra Sinfonica Carlo Coccia of Novara, and the Orchestra Camerata Ducale, working with internationally renowned conductors and soloists such as Claus Peter Flor, Andrés Orozco-Estrada, Jaume Santonja, Alondra de la Parra, Anthony Gabriele, Robert Treviño, Francesca Dego, Guido Rimonda, Andrea Bacchetti, Giuseppe Andaloro, Anna Tifu, Gábor Mészáros, Enrico Dindo, and Ekaterina Bakanova.

He has performed in prestigious venues in Italy, Serbia, and Switzerland as part of concert seasons including Emilia Romagna Concerti, Alba Music Festival, Magliano Alfieri Classic Festival, Festival Mahler, Serate Musicali di Torino, LaVerdi, MITO SettembreMusica, Festival Mendelssohn, Perosi Festival, and the Viotti Festival.

He has attended advanced masterclasses with Fabio Biondi, Roberto Ranfaldi, Francesco Manara, and Markus Placci. He is currently enrolled in the Second-Level Academic Programme at the Turin Conservatory.

He plays a rare Domenico Busan violin, built in Venice in 1746.

He is a student of the Fondazione Accademia di Musica.
