> > HOW TO DONATE YOUR 5X1000 TAXES
The 5×1000 is a quota of national taxes (IRPEF) that tax-payers can allocate to organisations of what is called the third sector, meaning that they operate in fields of social and cultural interest.
To allocate your 5×1000 to our school:
- On your tax return form (730, Redditi PF) write your signature in the space reserved for Third sector bodies registered with RUNTS (Enti del Terzo Settore iscritti nel RUNTS) and for officially registered ONLUS (Onlus iscritte all’Anagrafe)
- Add the tax code of the Fondazione Accademia di Musica C.F. 94539750011
You can allocate your 5×1000 even if you do not submit a tax return.
Follow these steps:
- Complete and sign the 5×1000 page attached to the Certificazione Unica (CU) form provided by your employer or by the body that issues your pension. Include the tax code of the Fondazione Accademia di Musica C.F. 94539750011.
- Place the 5×1000 page in a sealed envelope. Write on the outside of the envelope: “Scelta per la destinazione del cinque per mille dell’IRPEF” (choice of allocation of the 5 x1000 taxes), followed by the relevant taxation year, your tax code, surname and name.
- Deliver the sealed envelope to a Post Office or a CAF centre.
> FREE OF CHARGE
Opting for the 5×1000 scheme is completely free of charge. If you do not choose a beneficiary organisation for your 5×1000, the corresponding amount will still be paid to the State.
> WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 5×1000, 8×1000 AND 2×1000?
The 5×1000 should not be confused with the 8×1000 and the 2×1000. All three are percentages of personal income tax (IRPEF), but they can be allocated to different types of charitable organisations. They are not mutually exclusive and are not alternatives: all three can be claimed without increasing the tax due.
