THE CHOIR
THE JOY OF SINGING TOGETHER
The Accademia di Musica di Pinerolo choir was created principally to involve the people who form the audiences of the Accademia concerts, by providing them with an active, social experience of making music.
Any member of the community can join our choir. No specific musical or vocal skills are required: you only need enthusiasm and to want to sing together with a group.
The choir’s repertoire is wide and varied, ranging from arias from the opera, to folk music, to songs from the 20’s, all transcribed and arranged by the director, Marco Robino.
The choir collaborates with an accompanying string quintet and meets every Monday night at the Accademia di Pinerolo.
