After graduating “cum laude” at the Conservatory “G.P. da Palestrina” in Cagliari (bachelor’s degree) and at the Conservatory “N. Paganini” in Genoa (master’s degree), Federico Manca attended the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole in M° Andrea Lucchesini’s class.
During his studies, he had the opportunity to attend Masterclasses with important pianists such as Dmitri Alexeev, Pavel Gililov, Bruno Canino, Lilya Zilberstein, Orazio Sciortino, Enrico Pace and Benedetto Lupo.
In 2016, during the VI “Festival pianistico del Conservatorio di Cagliari” he played Mozart Piano Concerto Kv 466 in D minor, with the Orchestra “Palestrina” and in the following years took various concerts in Italy as a soloist.
Selected as one of the 12 competitors for the “Premio Venezia” 2019, in the same year he wins the first prize at the VII Competition “Città di Spoleto” (cat. G) and the second prize at the “Premio Giangrandi-Eggman” Competition.
Resulted as one of the winners of #contestAFR in april 2020, took a concert for the Accademia Filarmonica Romana, in Sala Casella during the festival “I giardini della Filarmonica AFteR”. In may 2021, he wins the first prize at the “Ugo Amendola” piano competition and in 2022 is awarded with the second prize at the Orbetello International Piano Competition.
He has been student of Fondazione Accademia di Musica.
