Davide Montanaro
Biography

Davide Montanaro was born in Acqui Terme (AL) in 2001.
He approached the violin at the age of 11, continuing his studies at the Liceo
“Saluzzo-Plana” of Alessandria, where he studied with Silvano Pasini and
Massimo Barbierato.
At the age of 16, he was admitted to the “Guido Cantelli” Conservatory of
Novara, and then moved to the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory of Turin in M°
Guido Rimonda’s class.
He attended courses and masterclasses with Lycia Viganò (Orchestra
Sinfonica di Milano), Fabio Biondi and Roberto Ranfaldi (OSN Rai).
He collaborates with leading professors and conductors such as Andrea
Oddone, Claus Peter Flor, Jaume Santonja, Alondra de la Parra, Anthony
Gabriele, Ruben Jais, Robert Treviño, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, Luca
Santaniello, Nicolai Freiherr Von Dellinghunsen, performing for the following
concert seasons: Bergamo Film Meeting, Festival Mahler, LaVerdi, MiTo
SettembreMusica, Viotti Festival.
He has played with prestigious soloists such as Francesca Dego, Guido
Rimonda, Gabor Meszaros, Sabrina Lanzi, Enrico Dindo and Ekaterina
Bakanova.
He regularly collaborates with the Orchestra Sinfonica Giovanile di Milano,
Orchestra Sinfonica Carlo Coccia di Novara, Orchestra Camerata Ducale.
He has performed in prestigious concert halls including: Auditorium of Milan
Fondazione Cariplo, Piccolo Teatro Stehler of Milan, Concert Hall of the
Conservatory of Turin, Auditorium Pittaluga of the Conservatory of
Alessandria, Teatro Donizetti of Bergamo, Teatro Sociale of Valenza, Teatro
Municipale of Casale Monferrato, Teatro Chiabrera of Savona, Grosser Saal
of Casino Bern(CH), Alte Reithalle of Aarau (CH), etc.
He is currently attending the last year of the Bachelor’s degree course at the
“Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory of Turin.
