Chiara Manca was born in 2000 and began studying piano at the age of 6 at the Scuola Civica di Porto Torres “Fabrizio De Andrè”, continuing her studies at the “Liceo Musicale D.A Azuni” of Sassari. Subsequently she was admitted to the Conservatorio di Musica “Luigi Canepa” in the class of Francesco Mirabella, obtaining in 2023 the Bachelor’s Academic degree under the guidance of Simone Ivaldi. In 2016 she participated in the International Competition for Young Musicians “Città di Paola” winning the third prize, and as part of the courses of “Bosa Antica” she took part in numerous mastering masterclasses with Marian Mika, Olga Kozlova, Aldo Ragone and Angela Oliviero. She participated in several masterclasses at the Conservatory with Andrés Carlos Manchado, Gonzalo Ortega, Alessandro Marano, Jean-François Antonioli and with the organists Johannes Skudilk, Antonio Frigè and Paulo Alvarez, in the summer courses of the Music Academy of Pinerolo attending the masterclass with Gabriele Carcano.
Within the courses organized by the International Center for Musical Studies (CISM), she attended the masterclasses led by Stefano Mancuso, earning a scholarship through which she performed in concert in Osini Vecchio for the festival “Note d’Ogliastra” in 2022, and at the Council Chamber of the municipality of La Maddalena in 2023 and 2025.
In 2023 she participated in the VII edition of “Cantus” organized by the Nuoro Vocal Ensemble in collaboration with the Scuola Civica di Musica “Antonietta Chironi” of Nuoro where she performed as a soloist.
In 2025 she participated in the Notturni Contemporanei festival, performing in chamber music in Nuoro at the Scuola Civica di Musica “Antonietta Chironi”, in Alghero in collaboration with the Arte in Musica association and in Cagliari at the Conservatorio “G. Pierluigi da Palestrina”; she then performed in duo during the rassegna “Mercoledì del Conservatorio” in Sassari. She also collaborated with the Turritano Polyphonic Choir performing during the festival “Voci d’Europa” as a piano accompanist and in chamber formation. She has been admitted to the two-year specialization in Piano at the Conservatorio di Sassari under the guidance of Andrea Ivaldi and now continues the studies with Anna Revel.
She has been student of Fondazione Accademia di Musica since 2026.
