Principal Clarinet and Soloist of RAI National Symphony Orchestra, Enrico Maria Baroni graduates at the Conservatory “G. Verdi “in Milan where he earned the Master’s Degree in music performance.
He had his first orchestral experiences as member of the Orchester des Jeunes de la Méditerranée, the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festivalorchester and the Philharmonie der Nationen. In 1995 he won the Second Soloist position of the Orchester de Chambre de Lausanne, where he worked until 2000, when he won the Principal Clarinet position of RAI National Symphony Orchestra.
He performs as soloist and in chamber music groups in the most important seasons including Torino September Music, Musical Union, Mito, Musical Music Festival Malatesta, Spoleto’s Two worlds Festival, Asolo Musica, Ravello Festival, Concerts at Quirinale, GOG of Genoa, Society Barattelli de L’Aquila, Chamber Music Association of Trieste, Philharmonic Laudamo of Messina, Musical Week in Stresa, City Festival of Cernobbio, Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, Murcia International Festival, Tibor Varga Festival, Ars Musica di Bruxelles, Musical Festival des Raspes, Latina 2000 (Italian Music in South America CIDIM), Las Almas Festival, Festus Novus, Cervantino Festival.
He performed with the RAI National Symphony Orchestra the Debussy Première Rhapsodie directed by Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos, twice the Mozart Symphony Concertant directed by Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos and Juraj Valcuha, op. 120 No. 1 of Brahms / Berio directed by Roberto Abbado, Bernstein Prelude Fugue and Riffs, Copland Concerto and Mozart Concerto directed by William Eddins.
He also played the Mozart Concerto with the Stresa Festival Orchestra directed by Gianandrea Noseda and with the Orchestra de Chambre de Lausanne the Mozart Concerto directed by Jesus Lopez Cobos, as well as the Weber and Stamitz Concerts.
He recorded for several labels including Deutsche Grammophon, Rivoalto, Videoradio, Due Punte Classica and participates in various record projects of the Amadeus music magazine.
Also active in the field of didactics, he teaches at the “G.Puccini” Institute of Gallarate and as well as holds a masterclass in the main Italian and foreign institutions.
