He began playing piano at age seven and studied in Palermo’s conservatory piano and chamber music with professors Nunziata Bonaccorsi and Alberto Giacchino, getting both degrees in 2017 and 2019 with full marks and honors. He also studied as a collaborator pianist with Fabio Ciulla.
Now he’s continuing to study with Maestro Federico Nicoletta in Parma and with Maestro Roberto Plano at “Accademia di Musica di Pinerolo”.
He is Art Director and piano/chamber-music teacher at Accademia Musicale Palermo Catarsi.
In November 2020 he completed the three-year “solo and chamber advanced master” in performance with Maestro Pierluigi Camicia at the Ludus Tonalis Academy in Riano (Rome). At the same time, he attended the annual Master’s in piano specialization at the Rachmaninov Academy (Catania) with Epifanio Comis and Violetta Egorova.
He attended piano masterclass with internationally renowned artists such as: Beatrice Rana, Benedetto Lupo, Pietro De Maria, Andrea Lucchesini, Roberto Prosseda, Michele Marvulli, Bruno Canino, Stefano Fiuzzi, Pierluigi Camicia, Ramin Bahrami, Paolo Restani, Sunghoon Simon Hwang, Edita Stankeviciute, Juan Antonio and José Eugenio Vicente Téllez.
He received a scholarship for distinguished merits on the occasion of the master in Molfetta under the guidance of teacher Pierluigi Camicia. Prize winner of National and international competitions such as: the “Placido Mandanici” competition in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto (first prize); Amigdala International Music Competition (second prize category F; second prize category E); Fratelli Camerano National Music Competition (first prize).
On 24 April 2019 he made his solo debut on the stage of the Teatro Massimo in Palermo on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the Lions Club International foundation.
On 15/06/2019 he performed as a soloist Beethoven’s concert for piano and orchestra n.5 op.73 “Emperor” conducted by Maestro Salvatore Barberi with the orchestra of the Alessandro Scarlatti conservatory in Palermo.
He plays in a duo formed with the Violist Francesco Montalto.
