Camilla Colombo, born in 2003, obtained her three-year degree in violin at the Cantelli Conservatory of Novara (to which she was admitted while still attending linguistic high school) in March 2024 with excellent results. She began her studies at the conservatory with m°Ivan Rabaglia, continuing them with m° Cristina Dancila Sirbu, daughter of m° Mariana Sirbu. She also attended the multi-year violin course at the international academy of Stradella, the Accademia del Ridotto under the guidance of m° Dmitri Chichlov. She achieved violin certifications up to Grade 5 (ABRSM) at The British School of Milan, she played in theaters such as the Teatro Scientifico del Bibiena in Mantua and played in the orchestra of the 5th centenary of the Coronation of the Madonna of Oropa among the first violins.
She is currently in the last year of the three-year viola course at the Cantelli Conservatory of Novara, studying under the guidance of m° Luca Ranieri, first viola of the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale RAI. She also attended masterclasses with international soloists such as m° Anna Serova (with a scholarship) and m° Timothy Ridout. She has also played in prestigious halls such as the Giovanni Arvedi Auditorium of the Museo del Violino in Cremona and at the Società del Giardino in Milan with the Accademia Concertante d’Archi di Milano.
