Born in London in 2000, Angelica Hope Roblin began studying the piano at the age of nine. At the age of thirteen she was admitted to the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory of Milan, where she obtained her First Level Academic Diploma with highest honors in 2022 under the guidance of Marco Rapattoni. In 2022 she was admitted to the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana, in Lugano (Switzerland), where she is currently enrolled in the Master of Arts in Performance course with Mauro Harsch. Since 2016 she has also been attending high performance courses with Maestro Konstantin Bogino and his assistants. She has attended master classes with Dmitry Alexeev, Lovro Pogorelich, Mats Widlund, Gloria Campaner, Andrea Turini and Alexander Romanovsky.
She has performed at numerous festivals and events, including “Pianocity” (Milan), several editions of the “Città di Chioggia” festival, the Piedicavallo Festival, the Sobrio Festival, the Musica nell’aria festival (Milan), Music on the String (Cannes), BAClassica and many other concert events. She has also performed in prestigious halls such as the Sale Apollinee of the Teatro La Fenice, the Sala Puccini of the Milan Conservatory, the Auditorium San Niccolò in Bergamo and the Accademia Perosi in Biella. In 2018 she won the second prize at the national music competition “Città di Vimodrone”, in 2020 the third prize at the international piano competition “Città di Treviso”, in 2023 the first prize at the international piano competition “Città di Chioggia” and the third prize at the international piano competition “Humberto Quagliata”, and in 2024 the second prize at the international piano competition “Andrea Baldi” and third prize at the national piano competition “Villa Oliva”.
