Ileana Tamburello
Biography

Ileana Tamburello is an Italian pianist. She began studying the piano with Maestro Domenico Piccichè. She began studying piano with M° Domenico Piccichè. She earned her Second-Level Academic Diploma in Piano with highest honors, distinction, and special mention at the “A. Scarlatti” Conservatory of Music in Palermo, under the guidance of M° Giulio Potenza. She later pursued advanced studies at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków (Poland), with M° Milena Kedra. She has won numerous national and international piano competitions. She maintains a regular concert activity as a soloist and has performed in several concert halls in Italy and abroad, such as the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Teatro Sollima in Marsala, Teatro Apollo in Castellammare del Golfo, Castello Malatestiano in Longiano, Sala Eutherpe in León (Spain), Aula Florianka in Kraków, Szkola Muzyczna im. Aleksandra Dębskiego in Kraków, and the Grande Salle of the Conservatoire Lucien Robert in Tamines (Belgium).

She was selected to take part in the PianoCity Milano 2024 festival. She was also selected for the “Youth International Musical Performance Meeting 2023” project, which allowed her to undertake a concert tour between Italy and Romania, performing in prestigious concert venues such as the Athenaeum in Bucharest, Henri Coandă Hall at the Palace of Culture in Iași, Eduard Cudella Hall at the George Enescu University of Arts in Iași, the Multicultural Centre of the University of Transylvania in Brașov, the Accademia di Romania in Rome, and the Hall of Mirrors in Abano Terme.

She has attended several piano masterclasses with internationally renowned teachers such as Michele Campanella, Irene Veneziano, Marcello Mazzoni, Ioana Stanescu, and Milena Kedra.

Ileana Tamburello is a student of the Fondazione Accademia di Musica.
