Lithuanian-born pianist Kasparas Mikužis has performed solo at prestigious venues such as Concertgebouw Hall and the Lithuanian National Philharmonic. His live performances have been televised on Mezzo TV and broadcast across Europe. Recent highlights include a concerto performance with John Wilson and the Royal Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra, a recital at the Penderecki Centre in Lusławice, Poland, and a performance for the Lithuanian and Polish presidents at the Presidential Palace in Lithuania. Kasparas is an artist on the recital scheme of the Countess of Munster Musical Trust, and his future engagements including a chamber music recital at Bridgewater Hall and performances of Ravel’s Piano Concerto with the Amadeus Symphony Orchestra at Wiltshire Music Centre and Exeter Cathedral.
Kasparas works closely with pianist Gabriela Montero and is a scholar of the Imogen Cooper Music Trust. Currently, he is completing his studies at the Royal Academy of Music with Christopher Elton, having also studied with Diana Ketler. In recognition of his international representation of Lithuania, Kasparas received a letter of gratitude from the President of the Republic of Lithuania.
