Sara Sasso
Biography

Sara Sasso approaches music from an early age to continue her studies with M° Cinzia Falco. From the very beginning she performs at numerous events, obtaining excellent recognition. Among these is the victory of the “D. Sarro” prize that allowed her to perform with the orchestra the first movement of the concerto k 414 by W. A. Mozart. She won first prizes and first absolute prizes in the following competitions: Mediterraneo 2021 (BA), Igor Strawinsky (BA), European piano competition “Salentinae Terrae 2023” (BR), Premio Musicarte (LE). She held concerts at Palazzo delle Arti Beltrani in Trani and Circolo delle Muse in Bari with a piano duo. As a soloist she performed at the Casa del mutilato in Bari, at the N. Van Westerhout theatre for the exhibition “Mola e una notte” after being selected at the end of a masterclass, at Palazzo della Musica in Molfetta. In 2022 she performed J.S. Bach concerto BWV 1055 in a major with string orchestra at the auditorium Nino Rota of the conservatory of Bari as part of the integral concerts of the same composer. Since 2023 she has been admitted to the excellences of the conservatory N. Piccinni di Bari, which has several times included her in concerts held at the same venue. She performed the Carnival of Animals by C. Saint-Saens with the first parts of the Pugliese Philharmonic Orchestra. She joins several masterclasses with Annibale Rebaudengo, Alberto Ferro, Jesus Gomez, Roberto Plano, Alessandro Deljavan. In 2023, she obtained her Bachelor degree with 110 honors and honorable mention under the guidance of M° Stefania Argentieri, with whom she is currently attending the two-year academic solo piano course. At the same time, she is studying with M° Pierluigi Camicia.

She is student of Fondazione Accademia di Musica since 2025.
