Luca Apicella, born in Salerno in 2002, took up piano at the age of 10.
In 2024, he graduated cum laude with honorable mention from the Second Level Piano Program taught by Tiziana Silvestri at the “Giuseppe Martucci” Conservatory.
He has been studying with Leonid Margarius since 2022, and in 2024 he was accepted to continue his studies with him at the Accademia Pianistica in Imola.
He has won multiple prizes at both national and international competitions; among the most recent ones are the “Emilia ed Elsa Gubitosi” competition in Capri and the “Don Enrico Smaldone” competition in Angri.
He attended masterclasses held by important musicians such as Alexander Romanovsky, Daniel Rivera, and Sergio De Simone.
Recently, he has performed in concerts in Albania and Bulgaria together with the best students of the Conservatory.
Whenever he plays, he always strives to move and touch the hearts of those who listen.
He is a student of Fondazione Accademia di Musica since 2025.
