Giulio Mandrile
Biography

Giulio Mandrile was born in Turin in 1996.
He obtained his first level academic diploma in the 2017/2018 academic year with honours, under the guidance of maestro Francesco Cipolletta, at the ‘Giorgio Federico Ghedini’
Conservatory in Cuneo.
Between 2015 and 2018 he took part in masterclasses held by Leslie Howard, Oleg Polyanskiy and Ingo Dannhorn.
In 2018, he won a full scholarship to the APM (Alto Perfezionamento Musicale) in Saluzzo, where he perfected his knowledge of historically informed performance praxis by attending
courses held by Stefano Fiuzzi, Yura Margulis and Evgeny Koroliov.
In 2019, he was admitted to the Master of Arts in Music Performance at the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana in the class of Nora Doallo.
Between 2019 and 2020 he is a scholarship holder at cultural foundations such as “Fondazione Cecilia Gilardi”, which gives him the opportunity to perform at the Teatro
Gobetti in Turin, “Fondazione Terrani”, “Stiftung Zaczkowski”.
In 2022, he completed the Master of Arts in Music Performance, obtaining top marks and distinction at the final recital.
In July 2022, he participated in the Masterclass held by maestro Adrian Oetiker.
In 2023, he performs for the association ‘Amici dell’orchestra sinfonica della Rai di Torino’. He was awarded second prize at the ‘Giulio Rospigliosi’ international piano
competition.
A great fan of chamber music, he frequently performs in various chamber formations ranging from duo to quintet.
He is currently attending the Master of Advanced Studies in Music Performance and Interpretation at the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana, in the class of Nora Doallo.
