DuoLab is an advanced chamber music workshop taught by Sonig Tchakerian and Andrea Lucchesini, dedicated to the violin and piano duo, and designed as a space for shared growth and expressive exploration. The workshop combines individual lesson by each musician with ensemble sessions in the presence of both teachers. The study programme aims to deepen the relationship between technique and interpretation, emphasising mutual listening and musical receptiveness.
The workshop take place on 27 and 28 November 2026 in Pinerolo and/or Turin and provides:
- 1 individual lesson with your instrument teacher
- 1 duo lesson with Andrea Lucchesini
- 1 duo lesson with Sonig Tchakerian
- 2 duo lessons with both teachers
Each session lasts one hour. The programme is free, drawn from the repertoire for violin and piano duos. Attendance on both days of the workshop is compulsory.
The workshop is open to established violin-and-piano duos.
Deadline for sending inscriptions to the workshop is 12 November 2026. To register, each member of the duo must complete the form at the bottom of this page, ensuring that they include, in the field for eligibility requirements, the name of the duo and of each member, along with their respective instruments, and their chosen programme of study. With the same requirements, the date of submission of the application is considered for choosing the students. Any applications sent after the deadline will be evaluated by the Directors of Studies.

Free admission as auditors for students enrolled in the Accademia’s courses.

The receipt proving the payment of the enrolment fee has been effected must be attached to your application to enrol. If the applicant is NOT admitted to Masterclass the enrolment fee will be refunded. If the application is successful but the student withdraws from the Masterclass, there will be NO refund of the enrolment fee.
The tuition fee is to be paid only after the confirmation of admission to the workshop, according to the instructions that will be sent by the secretary’s office.
