Elena Carla Porta, born in Magenta in 2003, began studying cello at the age of eleven at the city’s middle school.
During middle school, she won first prize at the 5th Alpi Marittime “Città di Brusca” International Competition and first place at the 12th “Città di Tradate” competition.
She continued her studies at the Magenta high school of music, where she graduated in 2021/2022.
At the same time, at seventeen, she began her Bachelor’s degree at the “G. Puccini” Conservatory in Gallarate, studying in the cello class of M° Massimiliano Martinelli, where she graduated in the 2022/2023 academic year.
She completed her Master’s degree at the “G. Puccini” Conservatory in Gallarate, studying in the cello class of M° Massimiliano Martinelli, in the 2024/2025 academic year.
She participates in the musical seasons of the “G. Puccini” Conservatory of Gallarate in chamber music and orchestral ensembles.
In September 2021, she participated in the “Vittadini Chamber Festival” project with a trio of clarinet, cello, and piano.
In May 2023, she collaborated with the Amici della Musica association of Trapani in the concert “Corpuscoli e Onde” as a soloist and with a trio of flute, cello, and piano.
She attended masterclasses with M° Sara Bennici at the “Urbino Giovani” festival, with M° Stefano Cerrato at the “Portogruaro Music Festival” and the “Armonie in Villa” festival in Pistoia, with M° Asier Polo, M° Ivan Siso, and M° Emil Rovner at the “Academia Internacional de Música Y Danza Forum Musikae” in Madrid, with M° Luca Franzetti at the Franco Vittadini Conservatory of Music in Pavia, and with M° Fulvia Mancini at the G. Puccini Conservatory in Gallarate.
After auditioning, she participated as an orchestral musician in the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 symphonic seasons of the Milan Youth Symphony Orchestra, attended masterclasses with M° Mario Shirai Grigolato and M° Tobia Scarpolini, and performed with the chamber groups of the Youth Symphony Orchestra at the Teatro Gerolamo in Milan.
In the 2024/2025 academic year she perfected her studies with M° Luca Magariello and M° Eduardo dell’Oglio at the “Music Development” Association in Turin.
She is student of Fondazione Accademia di Musica since 2025.
