Every two years outstanding young musicians from all over the world come to perform in Pinerolo and Turin.
The 2020 ICM Competition Pinerolo e Torino Città metropolitana, a member of the World Federation of International Music Competitions in Geneva, will be held in Pinerolo and Turin from 9 to 15 marzo 2020 (entries to be submitted by 17/1/2020).
Members of the prestigious jury will be Lukas Hagen (Austria), violin; Wen-Sinn Yang (Svizzera), cello; Klauss Kaufmann (Germany), piano; Liisa Randalu (Estonia), viola; Joel Hoffman (USA), composer; Marco Zuccarini (Italia), orchestra conductor; clarinet member still to be decided.
In the 2018 ICM the jury of renowned musicians decided to admit to the final 6 ensembles, instead of the usual 5, due the very high quality of the competitors.
