Jole Barbarini
Biography

Jole Barbarini was born in Bologna on September 11, 1999.
She began her piano studies at the age of 6 and continued them with Lina Tufano at the D. Cimarosa Conservatory in Avellino, where she graduated in 2020 with a Master’s Degree in Piano with the highest honors and distinction. She has also recently completed a Master’s program in Sound Design and Music Composition for Cinema, TV, and Video Games at the University Tor Vergata in Rome.
She enriched her piano education by participating in masterclasses taught by renowned instructors such as Vincenzo Balzani, Filippo Gamba, and Andrea Lucchesini.
She has received awards at the international competitions “Carlo Agresti” in Sala Consilina and “Giovani Promesse” in Bracigliano.
Jole has performed at numerous venues in Italy, including Sala Sosat in Trento, Casa Mozart in Rovereto, Palazzo Zevallos-Stigliano in Naples, the “W. Walton” Foundation in Ischia, and the Pasolini Hall in Salerno. She has also collaborated with the Mozart Italy Association, performing during the Mozartwoche in Salzburg and serving as the artistic director for the 2018  AperiMozart season in Salerno.
In addition to her solo work, she has always been involved in chamber music, collaborating with various musicians, including cellist Klaus Broz and oboist Diego Dini Ciacci. She has also worked with the Orchestra of the D. Cimarosa Conservatory, performing Mozart’s Concerto for 3 Pianos and Orchestra KV 242 at the Vincenzo Vitale Auditorium in Avellino in 2016.
Currently, she is studying under Alessandro Taverna at the Fondazione Santa Cecilia in Portogruaro and is part of the Façade Piano Duo with Antonio Coiana.
