Davide Marcati, born in Genova, was admitted at the age of eleven to the “Niccolò Paganini” Conservatory in Genova, he studied under the guidance of Maestro Enrico Stellini, earning both his Bachelor and Master degrees cum laude and Honorable Mention. He also completed advanced specialization studies with Andrea Lucchesini at the Fiesole School of Music, graduating with the highest marks. Since the age of thirteen he has won several first prizes in national and international competitions, including the “Giulio Rospigliosi”, the “J.S. Bach” in Sestri Levante, the “Crescendo Award” in Florence, the “Città di Spoleto” International Competition, the “Oltregiogo Piano Competition”, the “Andrea Baldi” in Bologna, the International Piano Competition in Albenga. In 2022 he performed for the “Piano City” piano festivals in Milan, and in Florence for the event in honor of Maria Tipo’s ninetieth birthday. In 2023 he joined the project “Attraverso i suoni” with Agimus Firenze and in the same year he performed in the prestigious Genova theatre “Carlo Felice” with the Paganini Conservatory Symphony Orchestra. He also performed in solo recitals for GOG (Giovine Orchestra Genovese), in Palazzo Ducale.
He has been student of Fondazione Accademia di Musica since 2026.
