Silvia Giovanna Cavallotto born in Alba in 2002. She started studying violin at the age of 8 years old with her teacher Monica Agosto. In June 2019 she started studying also with Andrea Bertino and she won the 3rd Prize in the “Valsesia International Competition”. In the same year she passed the 8th grade of ABRSM with Distinction. In 2021 she achieved the High school leaving qualification in classical studies in the “Liceo Classico” in Alba. At the end of 2021 she got admitted to the “Conservatorio G. Verdi” of Turin in the class of the teacher Umberto Fantini, where in October 2024 she achieved the Bachelor’s degree in Violin (Italian degree similar to a bachelor’s degree) with Top grade. She’s currently attending the second and final year of the Master’s degree in Violin (Italian degree similar to a master’s degree) with the same teacher. Through the years she attended some masterclasses with a lot of teachers such as Massimo Quarta, Alessandro Moccia, Valentina Busso, Marco Rizzi, Christophe Giovaninetti, Pavel Berman, Fabio Biondi, Manuel Zigante, Stefano Pagliani, Alberto Pignata, Stefania Yermoshenko, Vincenzo Bolognese. She plays as a soloist since 2019 and in July 2025 she played a part of Beethoven’s Violin Concerto Op. 61 with the Alba Filarmonica orchestra, where she had been Concertmaster from 2022 to 2024. Since 2019 she has performed in solo recitals in different concert seasons. In March 2026 she won the audition to play as a Soloist with the orchestra of the Conservatory of Turin.
She is student of Fondazione Accademia di Musica since 2026.
