Fondazione Accademia di Musica di Pinerolo e Torino

Founded in 2022 Mantegna Piano Trio is currently formed by Eleonora Sofia Podestà (violin), Francesco Abatangelo (cello) and Alessandro Lunghi (piano). In 2022 the ensemble was admitted to the advanced training course in chamber music at “Scuola di musica di Fiesole”, under the guidance of Bruno Canino, Alexander Lonquich, Erich Höbert and Trio Gaspard. Regularly followed in their studies by Vittorio Ceccanti, the Trio has already taken part in several events and concerts organised by important cultural realities such as Ente Concerti Pesaro, Livorno Music Festival and “I concerti di palazzo Cucchiari”. In 2022 the Trio was selected by Ente Concerti Pesaro for an artistic residency at Museo Rossini in Pesaro, where the group was able to study with Vittorio Ceccanti and Michele Sampaolesi. In 2024 the Trio won the first absolute prize at the “Regina Esperia” international competition in Como, where they also were awarded the “Moretti special prize” for the best chamber music group of the competition.
