Michele Chinellato was born in 1998, he’s been involved in musical interests since his childhood. He started his studies with Elisa Tomellini, then with Vincenzo Balzani in Associazione Pianofriends in Milan, also attending lessons with Valentina Messa. He achieved his Bachelor degree in Conservatorio Niccolò Paganini in Genova and Master degree in Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Rome.
He was rewarded in many national and international, such as “Rassegna musicale F. Mendelssohn” competition in Alassio, “Vittoria Caffa Righetti” international music Competition in Cortemilia, the European Music competition “Città di Moncalieri”, “Ciro Pinsuti” international competition, “Maurice Ravel” competition in Buriasco, Tadini international Competition in Lovere, IX Rome International Music Competition, “Gustav Mahler” international competition and “Città di Tarquinia” international music Competition.
He performed his repertoir in recitals and concerts in many halls, in Italy and abroad, such as the Grat Hall of Chopin University in Warsaw (Poland), the Grand Concert Hall del Music college N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov in Saint Petersburg (Russia), the Eutherpe Hall in Leon (Spagna), the Bacau Ateneu (Romania) with the philharmonic orchestra; in Rome for Concerti del Tempietto, at Teatro Marcello, in Sala Baldini, in the Hungarian Academy and in the Polish culture institute; in Milan for La Società dei Concerti, many times for Pianocity, and for Associazione Pianofriends in Palazzina Liberty, in Mare Culturale Urbano and in Casa delle Arti at Cernusco sul Naviglio; in Genova at Salone del Palazzo Spinola for GOG’s (Giovine Orchestra Genovese) Concerti di Primavera, in Villetta Di Negro, in David Chiossone institute, at Alliance française and in Palazzo Tursi; at Teatro della Rosa in Pontremoli (MC), at Teatro Belloni in Barlassina (MB) and at Salone degli Affreschi of Accademia Tadini in Lovere (BG).
He performed the second Rachmaninov’s piano concerto and the first Mendelssohn’s piano concerto with the Bacau philharmonic Orchestra for Pianotalent with Orchestra in 2017 and 2019.
He joined many mastrclasses and courses with famous pianists and teachers, such as Andrea Lucchesini, Enrico Pace, Roberto Plano, Piergluigi Camicia, Philipe Raskin, Frank Braley, Igor Roma, Giuseppe Andaloro, Leonel Morales, Yuri Bogdanov, Oleg Veinstein, Riccardo Risaliti and Antonio Di Cristofano.
During the lockdown in 2020 he joined many online music events, like “Chopin si racconta” e “Beethoven, romanzo famigliare di un genio universale” for Associazione Pianofriends and Pianosolo channels.
He’s always approached chamber music repertoir to the soloist, performing with the violinist Giulio Plotino at Teatro della Rosa in Pontremoli, at Hotel della Meridiana in Acqui Terme with Alex Leon and at the Linguistic Academy of Fine Arts in Genova with Beatrice Ferrari.
