Gabriele Duranti
Biography

Gabriele Duranti, born in 2000, lives and teaches piano in the Province of Cremona, where he began his musical studies in 2006 with Maestro Enrico Tansini. In 2023, he  obtained his Master Degree in Piano with the highest honors (110 cum laude) from the “G. Verdi” Music Conservatory in Milan, studying under Maestro Marco Rapattoni. He is currently studying at the “Accademia di Musica di Pinerolo” with Maestro Gabriele Carcano.
He regularly performs in Italy and abroad, in solo recitals, orchestra concerts, and chamber music formations, covering a repertoire that ranges from Baroque to contemporary music.
In 2024, he performed at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome. In 2023, he was invited to perform as a soloist with the Cremaggiore orchestra at the “International Festival Mario Ghislandi” in Crema. In 2022, he performed in Milan for “Società del Quartetto”, “Accademia del Teatro alla Scala,” and the contemporary music festival “m2c.” He was also invited to perform as a soloist at the San Giovanni Theater in Brescia, at the Museo Vittoria Colonna in Pescara, and in Berat, Albania.
In 2021, he performed in Dubai with “Orchestra Nazionale dei Conservatori Italiani” at Expo2020. Also in 2021, he recorded a concert for “Società Umanitaria” in Milan. In 2019, he held concerts in China (Nanning), Naples, and the Vatican Museums in Rome. Since 2017, he has performed as a soloist with the G. Verdi Conservatory Orchestra in Milan, playing pieces by G. Gershwin, F. Poulenc, and W.A. Mozart.
He has received various awards in national and international competitions in cities such as Treviglio, Treviso, Milan, and Sestri Levante, starting from 2009. He has participated in Masterclasses with renowned pianists and educators including Leonid Margarius, Alexander Lonquich, Boris Slutsky, Steven Spooner, Boris Petrushansky, and Alexander Kobrin.
