Biography

Eleonora Venuti started her music studies during middle school, at first playing piano, for 3 years. Once she discovered her particular inclination towards the cello, at the age  of 13 she successfully passed the admission exam, at the “Arcangelo Corelli” Conservatory in Messina, starting a study that granted her the first music and instrument knowledge.
Her teacher, Carmine Giammarino, led her from the I to the VII year of her studies, a journey during which she achieved various accomplishments.
Starting the VIII year, she moved and continued her studies with her teacher  Alessandro Andriani, at the “Vecchi – Tonelli” Music Institute in Modena, where she  graduated in October 2018.
She attended specialization courses with teachers such as Nicoletta Mainardi from the “G.Verdi” Conservatory in Milan, Luca Fiorentini, Ann Lines, Vito Paternoster, Guido  Boselli, Paolo Beschi, and E. Bronzi.
In her fourth year of studies, she began playing for the Conservatory of Messina’s  Orchestra.
She worked with the Messina theater orchestra on various occasions and participated in  several Chamber Music concerts. During the summer of 2015 she joined the whole Opera season of the “Taormina Arte” festival (specifically the four titles of the Opera repertoire “ “Norma – Don Giovanni – Carmen – Il Barbiere di Siviglia”). In the summer of 2017 she reached a new goal with the admission to the “Bertolucci” Youth Orchestra of Parma (1st place) and participated in various symphonic and operatic productions. In the summer of 2018, she auditioned and was admitted to the “Orchestra Giovanile della Via Emilia (OGVE)” and took part in the first production in October and, later, in the following ones.

In the summer of 2019, she participated in two tour stops by Andrea Bocelli at the Taormina Ancient Theater, as well as in the production of  “Turandot” in collaboration with the “Yap Opera Festival” Orchestra. Another significant contribution to her journey comes from her collaboration with the “Camerata musicale del Gentile,” with which she staged “Don Pasquale” in November 2019. In December 2020, she achieved Third Place in the audition for the “Samnium University of Music” and, during the same period, she qualified for the Philharmonic Orchestra of Campania. In 2021, she obtained her master-like degree, with highest marks, in cello studies at the “Vecchi – Tonelli” Music Institute in Modena, under the guidance of M°Alessandro Andriani.
