ADVANCED COURSES IN INSTRUMENTS AND OPERA SINGING
One of the most prestigious schools of advanced music training in Italy, the Fondazione Accademia di Musica has been operating in Pinerolo and Turin since 1994, with an increasingly international outlook, making the pursuit of excellence its guiding principle. Through our programme of specialist courses aimed at training professional musicians, our school has always supported exceptionally talented young people, providing them with courses held by internationally renowned teachers, and creating opportunities for them to work as musicians.

Every year around 650 students from all over the world choose courses from our professionally oriented teaching offer, entrusting their future to the expertise of 50 internationally renowned teachers. Our tailor-made approach accompanies each student on a personalized path, building on 30 years of teaching experience and responding to the needs of new generations of musicians with our courses – 3° level (postgraduate specialist courses), advanced music courses (one or three years, light or pre-academic courses), masterclasses and projects (the summer camp, the orchestra training etc.) and creating opportunities for them to work as musicians. > OPERA SINGING COURSES
Today our foundation, Fondazione Accademia di Musica has added Opera Singing to our teaching offer, with a 3rd cycle postgraduate specialist course in opera singing, that is absolutely unique in Italy, and a one-year course of advanced training dedicated to in-depth study of the opera repertoire.
PIANO COURSES
The postgraduate specialist piano course is taught by Pavel Gililov, Andrea Lucchesini, Enrico Pace, Roberto Plano. The postgraduate specialist contemporary piano course is taught by Emanuele Arciuli, Maki Namekawa, Nicolas Hodges, Ralph van Raat. Our courses of advanced studies in piano provide valid training for a professional career and are held by Enrico Pace, Roberto Plano, Enrico Stellini, Gabriele Carcano, Daniela Carapelli and Giovanni Doria Miglietta. Emanuele Arciuli teaches our course of contemporary music for piano. The teaching offer for piano also includes Focus courses, masterclasses, seminars, Light Courses taught by Benedetto Lupo, Roberto Plano, Mariangela Vacatello, Filippo Gamba, Pietro De Maria. There is also a Residential Music Course by Alexander Romanovsky.

VIOLIN COURSES
The postgraduate specialist violin course this year is not available. Advanced courses in violin studies are taught by Lukas Hagen, Francesco Manara, Lucy Hall and Cecilia Ziano, giving students the solid training that they need to embark on a professional career. The teaching offer for violin also includes the Light Course by Sonig Tchakerian, Orchestra Training course by Alessandro Milani, and masterclasses and seminars. There is also a biennial workshop by Guido Rimonda.

VIOLA COURSES
The Simone Briatore’s advanced viola course include in-depth studies in the literature of the instrument, reading of orchestra passages and training for orchestra performance. The teaching offer for viola also includes masterclasses and seminars.

CELLO COURSES
The postgraduate specialist cello course this year is not available. Our courses of advanced studies in cello provide valid training for a professional career and are taught by Patrick Demenga and by Luca Magariello. The teaching offer for cello also includes masterclasses and seminars.

WOODWIND COURSES
Clarinet and flute: at Fondazione Accademia di Musica there are two new Light Courses with teachers who are Section leaders in the OSN RAI – RAI national Symphony Orchestra. Enrico Maria Baroni and Luca Milani teach the Clarinet Light Course together; Alberto Barletta teaches flute.

CHAMBER MUSIC COURSES
The post graduate course of chamber music taught by Trio di Parma completes the musical training of students studying individual instruments. The advanced course of chamber music taught by Trio di Parma is ideal for students enrolling as an already formed ensemble with the aim of extending their knowledge of repertoire.

POC – CORSO DI PERFORMANCE-ORIENTED COMPOSITION
The Performance-Oriented Composition scheme is an innovative and groundbreaking programme that integrates Composition and Conducting. Composition tutor and supervisor of the course is Francesco Antonioni. Jonathan Stockhammer and Alessandro Cadario will take care of conducting training for composers. Monthly seminars with international guest composers will complement individual and group tuition in Composition and Conducting. The students are encouraged to take an active part in the performance and will conduct their compositions in the final concert.

OPERA SINGING COURSES
Our Fondazione Accademia di Musica, in partnership the Fondazione Luciano Pavarotti foundation, has added Opera Singing to our teaching offer, with a course that is absolutely unique in Italy: a 3rd cycle postgraduate specialist course in opera singing. This course is recognized by the Ministry of Universities and Research and is intended to
prepare students for a career in the field of opera. We offer also a one-year course of advanced training dedicated to in-depth study of the opera repertoire.
