Rebecca D'Angelo
Biography

Born in Milan on 14 September 2004, Rebecca D’Angelo began studying the violin in 2015 at the age of 11 at the musical middle school under the guide of M. Maria Rita Capponi, with whom she continued her studies until 2018, year in which she was admitted to the Liceo Musicale Cavour in Turin, where she will study with M. Marco Chiavazza until the year of getting her diploma in 2023. In the same year she will be admitted to the 1st year of the three-year course at the Vivaldi Conservatory of Alessandria in the class of M. Marco Fusi, with whom she will study for a year before being admitted to the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory of Turin in the class of M. Guido Rimonda, with whom she studies currently.

She has taken part in various orchestral productions in collaboration with the Liceo Cavour and the Conservatory of Turin, from 2017 to today, such as the occasion of the “Silent-Film Festival” in Karlsruhe (Germany) and in concerts on the occasion of the Music Festival or in the International Book Festival, in collaboration with OMT. She also took part in international festivals such as the “Mozart Nacht und Tag”, the “Jazz Festival” or the “Summa cum Laude” held in Vienna for two consecutive years as first violin within the Magister Harmonie Orchestra of Grugliasco, winning with the maximum score in the “Symphony Orchestras” category.She has performed on some occasions as a soloist in various youth competitions such as in the XVIII edition of the “Young Interpreters” Regional Musical Performance Competition in which she placed first with a score of 96/100 (2018), or also in the of the “Virginia Centurione” music competition in Genoa following the performance of a solo piece with a score of 94/100.

She currently combines her study and orchestral activity with musical teaching to kids.

She is a student of the Fondazione Accademia di Musica.
