If you play and are looking for advanced courses in cello that prepare students for the profession, held by internationally renowned teachers, you’ve come to the right place. Our tailor-made approach accompanies each student on a personalized path, building on 30 years of teaching experience and responding to the needs of new generations of musicians.
Our comprehensive, highly specialised education offer, includes a wide range of cello courses designed to meet the needs of students at different levels of training, from the 3rd university level to advanced, and even pre-academic levels.

In this academic year, the two-year specialization program in cello is not active. In the past this course has had internationally renowned soloists Enrico Bronzi, Mischa Maisky (visiting professor), Miklós Perényi, Rohan De Saram as teachers. Every year, approximately 650 students from around the world choose to study at Accademia di Musica. You can opt to attend a masterclass or participate in the summer camp alone, but if you enroll in the 3rd level, courses, or light courses, you become a student of our school opening up new opportunities. You may be selected to join the Accademia Chamber Orchestra and you’ll receive advance notice of training opportunities such as Professione Orchestra. You receive free admission to all concerts organized by us, can attend any other lessons where auditors are allowed, utilize the study rooms to practice in private and concert hall for recordings free of charge, access scholarships for advanced training, and as long as you’re our student, you’ll have a dedicated webpage (for more details, refer to the Regulations).
Furthermore, we increasingly seek to offer deserving students the chance to perform at our concert events or those of partner associations.
