Leonardo Elia Priori
Biography

Born in 2004, he began studying violin at the age of six, under the tutorage of M. Anna Minella. He then entered the “L. Marenzio” Conservatory of Brescia, with M. Riccardo Malfatto as his teacher. At the moment he is attending the third year of the Triennio Accademico under the tutorage of the M. Davide Alogna.
Starting from the year 2015, he regularly attends advanced courses with M. Cristiano Rossi, as well as masterclasses with M. Pavel Berman. Since 2021 he is pursuing studies both at the Stauffer Center of Cremona, with M. Salvatore Accardo, and at the Perosi Academy of Biella, with M. Pavel Berman. He also attended masterclasses at the Stauffer Center of Strings, with Michael Baremboin, Viktoria Mullova and Matthew Barley and, at the Chigiana Academy of Siena, with M. Salvatore Accardo.
From 2015 onwards he participated in many national and international competitions, among which the Concorso Crescendo 2021 in Florence, the European Music Competition Città di Moncalieri, the Concorso Internazionale “Rovere d’oro”, sez. Giovani Talenti, the Premio LAMS Matera 2020, the Costantine the Great International Competition – Nis (Serbia), the III Concorso Internazionale Rizzardo Bino, the XXXVIII Concorso Internazionale di Musica Città di Stresa, the VII Concorso Internazionale Diapason d’oro, obtaining first prizes and absolute first prizes, both as soloist and as part of chamber music groups. He carries out concert activity both as soloist and in chamber music ensemble: since 2022 he is a member of the “Quartetto Berlucchi”; together, they took part in important concert events for prestigious musical institutions (Teatro dal Verme, Milano and Sala Piatti, Bergamo).
