Emiliana Cannavale. Born in Poggibonsi (SI) on December 2, 1999, her love for music blossomed at a very young age, thanks to the Orff method. In 2006, she began studying violin in Naples with Rossella Bertucci and Alberto Ruta. She began her studies at the Nicola Sala Conservatory in Benevento with Maestro Giulio Rovighi in 2011, simultaneously attending numerous ensemble music workshops (such as the Gubbio Summer Festival) and participating in various events, competitions for promising young musicians, and musical festivals.
She earned her violin diploma (old system) in Naples at the S. Pietro a Majella Conservatory in June 2020 with a grade of 10 cum laude, under the guidance of Maestro Giuseppe Guida. She still meets and follows some of the most influential figures in the violin field, such as Gabriele Pieranunzi, Ivan Rabaglia (violin of the group “Trio di Parma”), Giuseppe Carotenuto, Sonig Tchakerian, and Felice Cusano.
In May 2021, she performed Mozart’s Violin Concerto K219 in Naples, receiving considerable critical acclaim.
In 2022, she was among the winners of the AM56 teaching competition – MUSICAL INSTRUMENT IN MIDDLE SCHOOL (VIOLIN). In 2023, she performed twice Vivaldi’s Violin Concerto RV277 (“The Favourite”) for A.Gi.Mus. Lazio.
Always interested in chamber music, in 2021 she attended the Advanced Training Course with Alain Meunier and Simone Bernardini at the Fiesole School of Music in duo formation with piano. She is currently taking the “Violin in Chamber Music” course with Maestro Ivan Rabaglia at the Perosi Academy in Biella. In March 2025, she earned the Master’s Degree in Chamber Music from the Domenico Cimarosa Conservatory in Avellino, with a grade of 110/110 cum laude and honorable mention. She has explored increasingly rich repertoire (by composers such as Shostakovich, Mendelssohn, Rachmaninoff, Schubert, Brahms, and Ravel), often performing them in collaboration with various teachers. Since last November, she has performed in the permanent String Quartet and Piano Trio, formed during the chamber music masterclass organized by the Alessandro Scarlatti Association of Naples, led by maestros such as Ulf Schneider and Simone Gramaglia. She has performed for various associations, including: the Maggio dei Monumenti in Naples; the PianoFormia Festival in Gaeta; “Gallerie d’Italia” at the Palazzo Zevallos in Naples; Dissonanzen; A.Gi.Mus. Lazio; the Ravello Festival in 2019 and 2023. In 2022, she was considered suitable as a violinist for the Benevento Philharmonic Orchestra and the Molise Symphony Orchestra. In 2023, she was considered suitable for the AYSO – OrchestrAcademy. She has collaborated frequently with the NapoliNova Orchestra, the Youth Orchestra of the Teatro San Carlo and the Collegium Philarmonicum (first violin leader), with the OFB and the Orchestra of the Accademia di Santa Sofia (second violinist). In 2024, she was considered suitable as a second violinist in the audition for Assistants in the Orchestra of the Teatro San Carlo, where she currently works. She plays a 1950 Domenico Tomassini violin.
Alfonso D’Aniello. Born in 2001 in Torre del Greco, he began his musical studies at the age of thirteen with classical guitar at the “Pitagora – B. Croce” Music High School in Torre Annunziata, where he graduated with top marks (100/100 with honours). At sixteen he definitively chose the cello as his principal instrument, embarking on a path that led him, in 2023, to graduate with a Bachelor of Music in Cello with highest honours (110 cum laude with special mention) at the Conservatorio “San Pietro a Majella” in Naples. He is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Cello at the same Conservatorio under Maestro Luca Signorini, as well as a Master of Music in Chamber Music under Maestro Salvatore Biancardi. His training has been enriched by numerous cello masterclasses with Maestri Diego Romano, Aurelio Bertucci, Patrizio Serino, Giovanni Sanarico and Enrico Dindo, as well as chamber music masterclasses with Maestri Pierfrancesco Borrelli, Dora Cantella, Ulf Schneider, Simone Gramaglia, Giuseppe Carotenuto, Luca Improta, Carlo Fabiano, Simone De Pasquale and Francesco Solombrino. He has also attended courses in Soundpainting with Maestro Marika Lombardi and taken part in international workshops in Paris. From 2021 to 2024 he served as Principal Cello of the Collegium Philarmonicum Youth Orchestra under Maestro Gennaro Cappabianca. Previously, he collaborated as a cellist with the Orchestra Sanitansamble, performing at the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples for prestigious events such as the 2018 Christmas Concert and the XIII COTEC Europa Symposium, attended by the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella, the King of Spain Felipe VI, and the President of the Portuguese Republic Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa. With the same ensemble he also took part in the recording of the CD “Sanitansamble, dieci anni di noi”. He collaborates regularly with various orchestras and ensembles, including the Orchestra Filarmonica di Benevento, Jubilate Deo, Rotary Club di Napoli, and Ensemble Mercadante. He is also a permanent member of cello ensembles such as Chambercelli under Maestro Aurelio Bertucci and Violoncelliade! under Maestro Luca Signorini, with which he maintains an intense concert activity.
Domenico Spampanato. Born in 1999 in the province of Naples, he began studying piano at the age of 15. After completing his secondary education, he was admitted to the “Domenico Cimarosa” Conservatory in Avellino, where he graduated in the class of Maestro Carmela Palumbo and obtained a specialisation in Pianoforte Solistico with special mention under the guidance of Maestro Paolo Francese.He is currently enrolled in a second-level/master’s programme in Musica d’Insieme (Ensemble Music) with Maestro Antonello Cannavale. Domenico also completed an Erasmus traineeship and internship at the Vytautas Magnus University – Music Academy in Kaunas, Lithuania.
He has attended numerous masterclasses with internationally renowned pianists and pedagogues, including Andreas Frölich, Justas Dvarionas, Donaldas Racys, Julija Sadaunykaite, Vincenzo Balzani, Bruno Canino, Francesco Nicolosi, Marco Pasini and Roberto Russo. Alongside his concert activities, he has pursued advanced study in composition and musical analysis with Maestro Gianvincenzo Cresta, and has performed world premieres by contemporary composers such as Mattia Esposito, Pietro Pisano and Rosalba Pinto.
Domenico has performed as a soloist, chamber musician and ensemble player in Italy, Poland and Lithuania. Notable performances include Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in C major with the conservatory orchestra conducted by Maestro Carlo Goldstein, Mozart’s Piano Concerto K.413 in F major with the Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie under the direction of Ulrich Semrau, and the Magnificat from Liszt’s symphonic repertoire for two pianos and women’s choir. He was also admitted and awarded a scholarship following the auditions for the conservatory’s “Ensemble di Musica Contemporanea” project, performing twentieth-century works for ensemble under the direction of Maestro Massimo Testa.
