Chiara De Quarto
Biography

Chiara De Quarto was born in 1993, she graduated in piano at the Conservatory ‘G. Paisiello’ of Taranto under the guidance of Professor Giusy Francavilla, and then she graduated with the maximum of votes and praise under the guidance of master Pierluigi Camicia at the conservatory “Tito Schipa” of Lecce.

She took part  as a soloist or in chamber ensembles, in several national and international competitions, always winning the first places. She is winner of the prize “Terme di Castrocaro” in the XIX Music Festival of the best graduates a.a. 2014 organized by the association “Castrocaro Classica” and the award “Best classified of Italian nationality” in the international piano competition “Città di Acquaviva delle Fonti”.

She took part in several concerts, among the last ones organized by the association “Amici della Musica” of Taranto, by the association Giovanni Colafemmina of Acquaviva delle Fonti, from the association “Auditorium” of Castellana Grotte, from the association Alessandro Scarlatti” of Naples, from the Camerata Musicale Salentina.

She performed as a soloist with the Bari Symphonic metropolitan Orchestra performing Concerto No. 4 in G major op. 58 by L. V. Beethoven, and also with the Philarmonic apulian orchestra performing the concerto K466 in D minor by W.A.Mozart.

She has participated in masterclasses with masters such as Benedetto Lupo, Leonid Margarius, Lylia Zilberstein, Bruno Canino, Roberto Cappello, Michele Marvulli. She continues studying with Pierluigi Camicia at the European Arts Academy “Aldo Ciccolini” of Trani and with Mariangela Vacatello at the Academy of Music of Pinerolo.
