Juan Carlos Zaframade his debut as a soloist at the age of 11, performing J.S. Concerto for Piano and Orchestra in F minor with the SymphonY Orchestra of the Professional Conservatory of Music of Huelva, his hometown, in the Gran Teatro de Huelva.
Juan Carlos Zafra has performed numerous recitals as a soloist, with orchestra, with two pianos and with chamber music ensambles in different concerts halls both nationally and internationally. Among them, several concerts with the Orquestra Sinfonica del C.P.M. “Javier Periannes” as a soloist and with the Joven Orquestra Nacional de España in the year 2021 stand out.
During These years, he has been awarded iin numerous competitons, among which we highlight in 2023 the 1st Prize in the II Iberian Piano Competition in Badajoz and the 3rd Prize in the II National Piano Competition “Ciudad de Don Benito”. He also won the 1st Absolute Prize in the V International Piano Competition for young talents “Julio Casas” in Seville and the 1st Prize in the Instrumental Competition Sant Anastasi XVII, and in turn, Special Prize for the best solo paino perofrmance, sponsored by Ricard Viñes.
Trought his years of learning he has been advised in hi smusical improvement in coourses and master classes by numerous teachers such as Leonel Molrales, Nino Kereselidze, Marina Gurkova, Ana Guijarro, Joseph Colom, Graham Jackson, Ivan Martin, Claudio Martinez Mehner and Angel Sanzo, with wom he finally studied.
He is a student of the Fondazione Accademia di Musica.
