Maddalena Gatto
Biography

Musician with a Bachelor’s Degree in Classical Piano from the Padua Conservatory of Music.
She graduated summa cum laude in December 2022 under the guidance of M° A. Silva. She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Piano Performance at the same Conservatory with M° A. Silva and M° A. Orvieto.
Her pianistic education began with M° Archetti and M° G. Lovato, who guided her from 2006 to 2017, and was enriched through masterclasses with distinguished teachers such as M° Giovanna Valente, M° Lilya Zilberstein and M° M. Ferrati (2018–2022). During her university years she developed a strong interest in chamber music, collaborating with various ensembles with a specific interest in violin–piano duo repertoire, attending masterclasses with the “Trio di Parma” — M° Alberto Miodini, M° Enrico Bronzi and M° Ivan Rabaglia. She also participated as a piano accompanist in opera masterclasses with M° Marco Boemi and M° V. Scalera between 2021 and 2022.
In April 2024 she was admitted with a scholarship to the Master in Piano Performance at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee (Boston, Massachusetts, USA), a program she chose not to pursue for personal reasons.
For the past four years she has been teaching at the music school in her hometown of Treviso, working with students of all ages.
Alongside her musical studies she completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology of Development, Personality and Interpersonal Relationships at the University of Padua, graduating summa cum laude in September 2025 with a thesis on coping strategies and the treatment of Music Performance Anxiety. This interdisciplinary perspective enriches her interpretative awareness and fosters a more profound connection with music.

She is student of Fondazione Accademia di Musica since 2025.
