Luca Segnalini was born in Rome on July 31, 2004, and is currently in the first year of the second-level academic diploma program in piano at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory with Maestro Marialaura Proietti Salvatori.
His musical training began in elementary school with Maestro Mazzitelli’s children’s choir, with which he performed at the 2014 Christmas Concert at the Quirinale Palace for President Napolitano.
He began studying piano at the Paolo Stefanelli Comprehensive Institute, where he attended middle school with a focus on music. He was also a member of the music section of the orchestra, with which he won all the numerous competitions he entered:
XIII National Music Competition “Giovani Musici” (May 16, 2018) First prize overall with 100/100 points;
11th “Città di Tarquinia” International Music Competition (May 11, 2018) First prize overall with 100/100 points (high schools) and First prize with 98/100 points (SMIM);
10th “Jacopone da Todi” National Competition (May 9, 2018): First prize overall;
7th “Città di Scandicci” International Music Competition (April 28, 2018) First prize with 98/100 points;
25th “G. Visconti” National Music Competition (Rome, May 5-6 and 12-13, 2017) Orchestra Category, score 95/100;
Subsequently, he continued with pre-academic courses, in partnership with the Santa Cecilia Conservatory, at the Nazareth Institute and the Sant’Apollinare Institute with the “Musicaè” association, before entering the conservatory.
Luca has participated in masterclasses with renowned maestros, including Roberto Plano, Pietro De Maria, and Hande Dalkilic, and participated in the 32nd edition of the Rome International Piano Competition, in the young pianists section, on November 3, 2023.
He also participated in the PIANOESTENSE piano marathon at the Pinacoteca Nazionale “Palazzo dei Diamanti” in Ferrara on June 21, 2025, and has performed in several recitals at:
‘’Concerti del Tempietto – Roman Nights at the Teatro Marcello’’ in Rome on August 30, 2024 and September 8, 2025;
Fondación Eutherpe in León (Spain) on September 12, 2025;
Tonalestate International Summer University in Ponte di Legno (BS) on August 7, 2025.
He is student of Fondazione Accademia di Musica since 2025.
