Composer and violinist from Cascina, born in 1997, he approached the world of music by studying violin with the late Maestro Roberto Cecchetti and then continued under the guidance of Maestro Alberto Bologni at the ‘Luigi Boccherini’ Conservatory of Lucca, graduating with top marks.
He studied composition first with Maestro Pietro Rigacci and then with Maestro Girolamo Deraco, graduating with top marks and honours.
In 2022 he was awarded a full scholarship for the Puccini International Chamber Opera Composition Course: during the course he composed the opera IO, MORO that was performed at the Teatro del Giglio in Lucca; the opera was awarded the Cluster Opera Prize 2023.
He won Second Prize at 2 Agosto 2024, First Prize at Emili Giménez Bou 2024, First Prize at Armonie dello Stilaro 2024, Third Prize at Gaffurio Prize 2023 and Special Mention at Novi Musica 2023.
He has arranged and transcribed pieces commissioned by Maestro Andrea Tofanelli, a well-known trumpet player who has taken his works beyond national borders, and by Maestro Francesco Tamiati, first trumpet of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
He has received commissions from the Puccini Chamber Opera Festival, Pontedera Music Festival, Associazione Musicale Lucchese, Lucca Classica; His compositions have been performed in festivals such as the Concerti della Normale, Pontedera Music Festival, Puccini Chamber Opera Festival, Lucca Classica and Udine Classica, for renowned associations such as Cluster and
Associazione Musicale Lucchese and in important theatres such as Teatro della Pergola and Teatro Goldoni in Florence, Teatro del Giglio and Auditorium del Suffragio in Lucca, Teatro Alfieri in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana and Teatro Palamostre in Udine.
His catalogue includes operas, pieces for symphony orchestra and wind orchestra, chamber music, choral pieces, sacred music, pieces for solo instrument, pieces for big band and music for theatre.
His music is published by EMA Vinci.
He studied chamber music with Maestro Fabrizio Zoffoli (first violin of the Guadagnini Quartet) and perfected his skills with violinists such as Marco Fornaciari, Marco Pedrona and Gregory Sandomirsky.
He is a student of the Fondazione Accademia di Musica.
