Musicologist and director, Laura Cosso teaches Scenic Art at the Milan Conservatory. She has numerous publications to her credit (especially on French opera), collaborates regularly with the Teatro alla Scala and with the major musical institutions.

As a director, she has staged works by Mozart, Donizetti, Verdi, Puccini, working in Italian, European and Oriental theatres; she has created spectacular versions of the lieder repertoire and has dedicated herself to multimedia theatre, including a Gala Opera project for the prestigious Oriental Art Center in Shanghai.
