A Light Course in cello taught by Enrico Dindo is a short course scheduled during the academic year and it consists of 8 lessons of 1 hours divided into 4 teaching sessions distributed over the year between October and June. Dates of lessons for the Academic Year will be published in October. An accompanying pianist will be present at the lessons when required.

The course is dedicated to cellists who wish to improve their skills: the main objectives of the course are the extension of the repertoire and the preparation for competitions.
The course is dedicated to cellists, both graduates and not. The course is open to students enrolled in the Accademia as well as to external students. Students attending annual academic courses may also enroll in the Light Course.
Applications for the 2025/26 academic year must reach our offices by 28 September 2025. With the same requirements, the date of submission of the application is considered for choosing the students. Any applications sent after the deadline will be evaluated by the Directors of Studies.
Entrance exams for the 2025/26 academic year will be held on Autumn.
The selection takes place in two phases:
- together with their application form, candidates must send a CV and an audio / video file with free program, made no earlier than 2024. The Artistic Director and M° Dindo will assess the materials submitted and will make a list of candidates, who will be called for an audition at the Accademia di Musica in Pinerolo. The file programme must include two pieces of different authors, periods and styles for cello and piano (also reductions from cello and orchestra) or solo cello.

The enrolment fee must be paid annually. It is non-refundable. The receipt proving that payment has been effected must be attached to your application to enrol. In case a student wants to attend more than one advanced course, the enrolment fee is to be paid only once in a year.
The tuition fee annual attendance fee is to be paid only after passing the entrance exam, according to the instructions that will be sent by the secretary’s office.
