Born in 2000 into a family of musicians, at the age of 13 she started studying cello in Maurizio Salemi’s class at the “V. Bellini” Conservatoire in Catania, where in 2021 she obtained a three-year degree in cello with top marks and honours. In July 2024 she obtained the Master Degree in cello in the same Conservatoire with top marks and honours. Since the beginning of 2024 she has been attending a masterclass with the soloist and German cellist Maria Kliegel in Germany. She attended masterclasses with important soloists and principal Cello of main italian theatres as Natalie Clein, Luigi Piovano, Giovanni Gnocchi, Patrizio Serino, Luca Magariello, Andrea Waccher, Viviana Caiolo From 2019 to 2021 she attended a cello course with Prof. Ulrike Hofmann (Stuttgart) at the Piana del Cavaliere Festival in Orvieto (TR), and studied in Rome with Diego Romano and Alessio Pianelli. Currently she plays as principal cello in the Giuseppe Sinopoli Youth Orchestra directed by Maestro Carla Delfrate, where she played with soloists of the caliber of cellist and composer Giovanni Sollima, Giuseppe Gibboni, and Francesco Manara, first violin of the Teatro La Scala di Milano. She also plays in the Symphony Orchestra of the V. Bellini Conservatoire directed by E. Comis and she has performed with international renowned soloists such as Natalie Clein, Barry Douglas, Marc Bouchkov, David Carpenter, Darko Brlek, Violetta Egorova, under the direction of prestigious conductors as Charles Dutoit. She collaborates with Orchestra Filarmonica Vittorio Calamani under the direction of Donato Renzetti. In 2023 she was the regional winner of the Soroptimist International “Giovani Talenti Femminili” National Competition. As orchestral cellist she collaborates with Teatro Vittorio Emanuele of Messina, Associazione Musicale Etnea, Camerata Strumentale Siciliana, Palermo Classica Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Luogocomune with the soloist M° Bruno Canino.
She is a student of the Fondazione Accademia di Musica.
