Lorenzo Bovitutti was born in 1993 in Gallarate (Varese, Italy) and graduated with top marks, honors, and distinction under the guidance of Roberto Plano at the Conservatory of Alessandria in 2016.
He was an Artist in Residence (2018–2020) at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Brussels, where he furthered his studies with Louis Lortie.
He continued his training at the Haute École de Musique in Geneva with Cédric Pescia, earning a Master of Arts in Piano Performance, and with Pasquale Iannone at the Conservatory of Bari, with whom he currently collaborates at the Accademia del Ridotto in Pavia.
In 2025, he completed the Master of Arts in Piano Pedagogy at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano, once again under the mentorship of Roberto Plano.
In addition to numerous solo recitals throughout Europe, Bovitutti has been invited to perform as a soloist in concertos by Bach (No. 5), Mozart (K.414, K.595), Beethoven (No. 1 and No. 5 “Emperor”), Finzi (Eclogue), and Gershwin (Rhapsody in Blue), with orchestras including the Orchestra Sinfonica “Coccia” di Novara, Orchestra Pro Musica, Young Belgian Strings, Orchestra Filarmonica Europea, Lacmus Ensemble, Musikademia Ensemble, Eine Kleine Ensemble, and Placard Wind Quintet.
He is professor of an advanced training course at the European Academy “Villa Bossi” on Lake Varese, and is regularly invited to give masterclasses for the San Biagio Festival (Perugia), Giulio Rospigliosi Association (Lucca), and Pianova Centar (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
Lorenzo Bovitutti is also President of the “Pura Musica” Association, as well as Artistic Director of “Affreschi Sonori” (Varese – Salone Estense), “Suoni della Val Cavargna – International Music Festival and Masterclasses”, and “Donatori di Musica Gallarate”.
Lorenzo Bovitutti is a student of the Fondazione Accademia di Musica.
