Simone Rescigno
Biography

Born in Naples on 04/08/1996, he started his musical studies at a young age attending the Liceo Musicale G. Paisiello in Pomigliano D’Arco (NA), until his entry into the Conservatory in 2015. Guided by Maestro Pietro Calzolari, at the Conservatory Domenico Cimarosa in Avellino, he obtained on 29/10/2018 the first degree in violin with a 110/110 grade and, two years later, on 30/07/2020, the second level degree in violin soloist with top marks, 110/110 with praise and mention. He has several experiences with chamber music and youth orchestras including Collegium Philarmonicum; Youth Orchestra of the Avellino Conservatory; OSSCA Orchestra of Salerno and Erasmus Orchestra in Agrigento.

His training is enriched by Erasmus projects in Latvia (2010) with the Liceo Musicale G. Paisiello; Poland (2016) and Lithuania (2017) with the Youth Orchestra of the Conservatory D. Cimarosa of Avellino.

In 2022 eligible for the audition for violin tutti at the Orchestra Brutia di Cosenza and several times involved in productions of the Symphony Orchestra of Molise. He has also collaborated with Orchestra Antonio Vivaldi of Morbegno (Sondrio).

Both in 2021 and 2022 he is admitted to the Workshop “Profession Orchestra” in collaboration between Rai Orchestra and Accademia di Musica of Pinerolo (TO) held by Maestro Alessandro Milani. He is trained in various masterclasses and advanced courses with Maestro Carlo Maria Parazzoli; Maestro Salvatore Quaranta; Maestro Stefano Pagliani and Maestro Ilya Grubert and at the Accademia di musica di Pinerolo (TO) with Maestro Alessandro Milani. At the same Academy, in 2024, he was admitted to the two-year violin master’s course in the class of Maestro Francesco Manara. He plays a Marcucci Custode (Sant’Agata sul Santerno, Italy) from 1920.
