Federico Bucaioni
Biography

Born in 1993 in Rome, Federico Bucaioni began his studies early, supported by his family particularly interested in culture and music.
He continued his studies with M° Lucia Bonfiglio, who for many years was his only teacher. Their artistic collaboration still goes on today.
Soon after getting the chance to study in Conservatorio Santa Cecilia, in Rome, in 2016 he has been selected to play pieces composed by Maximilian Reger to commemorate the centenary of the composer’s death, and in the same year he was invited to play in the hall “Sala delle armi“ of “Palazzo Sforza Cesarini“ in Genzano di Roma, as a opening to the concerts of the “Accademia degli Sfaccendati“.
During his studies he attended numerous mastercasses of distinguished piano professors such as Pierluigi Camicia, Roberto Prosseda, Irene Veneziano, Drafi Kalman, André Gallo, Giorgia Tomassi, Bruno Canino.
In 2020 he graduated at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory, under the teachings of Maestro Riccardo Marini and Maestro Laura Mattei with the highest marks.
He has performed in prestigious venues in Italy and abroad: from Palazzo Leti Sansi in Spoleto to Villa San Giacomo in Santa Margherita Ligure, from Teatro Accademia degli Avvaloranti in Città della Pieve to Auditorium San Francesco in Norcia, from Museo Nazionale of musical instruments to Palazzo Sforza Cesarini in Genzano di Roma.
In 2021 as a grand prize winner, he has been invited to play in Sloven in the Lake Salon of the grand Hotel Toplice, in Bled, where He played pieces of Scarlatti, Beethoven and Liszt.
He has been awarded with many prizes over the last years :
-Grand Prix at the “Alpin Triglav International Competition”
-First Prize at the first edition of “Francavilla Fontana Piano Competition“ (invited to give a Concert as a first prize winner)
-First Prize at the IV edition of International Piano Competition “Melos” in Rome
-First Prize at the “12th international music competition “Città degli Imperiali” “
-First Prize at the “VIII Rome international Music Competition”
-First prize at the “VI International art competition Rogaska”
-Second prize at the “X International Music Competition Amigdala “Giuseppe Raciti Memorial“
-Second prize at the “3rd Laszlò Spezzaferri International Music Competition”
-First prize at “International Competition “Città di Pesaro”
-First prize at “VIII Rome International music competition”
-Second prize at “European Piano Competition “Sonja Pahor”
-First prize at “International Music Competition Città di Fasano”
And many others.
He spent one year studying with Maestro Pasquale Iannone and he is now continuing his studies with Maestro Mariangela Vacatello and Maestro Giorgia Tomassi.
