Emanuele Crucianelli was born in Macerata in 1998. He began studying the cello at the age of eleven with Giancarlo Giannangeli, continuing his studies with Luca Pincini and Michele Chiapperino at the Conservatories of L’Aquila and Latina, where he graduated with the highest honors and distinction. He subsequently refined his training with Enrico Bronzi at the Accademia “Incontri col Maestro” in Imola, with Antoaneta Emanuilova at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Rostock, and with Giovanni Sollima at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome.
He received chamber music training from the Trio di Parma and Pierpaolo Maurizzi at the Conservatory of Parma, and he initiated his studies in composition with Paolo Aralla at the Conservatory of Bologna.
He has participated in masterclasses with Francesco Dillon, Peter Bruns, Francis Gouton, Giovanni Gnocchi (Accademia Filarmonica di Bologna), and Natalie Clein (Cello Akademie Rutesheim).
He was awarded first prize at the national competitions “Marco dall’Aquila” and “Città di Viterbo.” He received the Diploma of Honor at the international TIM (Torneo Internazionale di Musica) competition in Turin, and as a member of the Trio Hermes (piano trio), he won the European Chamber Music Competition in Moncalieri, Turin.
He has served as a member and principal cellist of the ONCI (Orchestra Nazionale dei Conservatori Italiani), and he took part in the 2018 Orchester-Akademie of the Tiroler Festspiele Erl under the direction of Gustav Kuhn, as well as the Moritzburg Festival Academy in 2022. He has also collaborated with the string orchestra I Solisti Aquilani and, as principal cellist, with the Orchestra da Camera di Perugia.
He is student of Fondazione Accademia di Musica since 2025.
