Edoardo, born in Como in 2009, began studying cello at the age of 4 at the Suzuki School ‘Il Picchio’ in Gallarate with Maestro Alessandro Andriani, with whom he continued his studies at the Conservatorio di Modena.
He is currenty attending the ‘Giovani Talenti’ course at the Conservatorio di Como under the guide of Maestro G. Boselli and he will take the admission exam for the Academic Three-year course in the summer session.
He’s studying with Maestro L. Magariello and Maestro E. Dell’Oglio in Turin at the “Accademia Il Giuoco”.
Since September 2021, Edoardo has been a member of the Orchestra Giovanile della Svizzera Italiana conducted by Maestro Y. Ruiz, also playing the role of first cello.
He has been playing in a duo with pianist Matteo Pisciotta since spring 2024 with whom he took part in the “International Competition Città di Alessandria”, finishing in 2nd place with 95/100 (first prize not awarded).
He attends the Liceo Classico A.Volta in Como.
He took part in several music competitions, finishing in 2016 in first place at the “European music competition” of Moncalieri and in the following years, at the “XXVII International music competition” of Cortemilia, at the “XXIV Concorso strumentistico Città di Giussano”, at the “6° Concorso musicale nazionale Città di Vimodrone”, in 2024 he was first overall in his category and section winner at the “XXVIII Concorso Città di Giussano” and first prize overall with a score of 100/100 in the “7th Concorso International Music in the Langa”.
In 2023 Edoardo also won the “Premio Zamparo” scholarship organised by the Conservatorio di Modena.
As a soloist and in duos he has played among others at the Stella Maris Association in Savona, the Sala Consiliare ‘Aligi Sassu’ in Giussano, the Delfini Library Modena, in the musical marathon organised by the Viotti Club Vercelli, for the appointments of the Viotti Tea in Vercelli, with cello ensemble and orchestra Edoardo played at the Sala Bianca of the Teatro Sociale in Como, at the Cardinal Ferrari Centre in Como, at LAC in Lugano, at the RSI auditorium in Lugano and at the Sala Verdi of the Conservatorio di Milano.
He is a student of Fondazione Accademia di Musica ETS since 2025.
