Born in Brescia in 2002, Alessandro Zanotti began studying piano at the age of six. Since 2012, initially under the guidance of Pinuccia Giarmanà and currently with Giampaolo Stuani, he is attending the “Luca Marenzio” Conservatory in Brescia, where he is about to obtain his Master’s Degree. He is taking an advanced course with Pasquale Iannone at the Accademia del Ridotto in Stradella (PV) and has attended masterclasses with Roberto Cappello, Massimiliano Motterle, Francesco Libetta, Orazio Sciortino, Emanuele Arciuli, and Emanuel Ax.
Alessandro Zanotti has won numerous awards and recognitions in national and international competitions, including the “Merci, Maestro!” International Competition for Young Pianists in Brussels, the “Palma d’Oro, Young Artists” Competition in Finale Ligure, the “Andrea Baldi” International Piano Competition, the “F. Mendelssohn” International Competition (SV), the “Città di Stradella” International Competition, the National Competition for Young Pianists “Armando Renzi” in Trevignano Romano, and the “Diapason d’oro” International Competition in Pordenone.
He has also performed in numerous concert series in Cremona, Milan, Rome, Bari, Stradella, Lodi, and in the province of Brescia. In Brescia, he has performed for the Palco GIA Passadori, at the Auditorium S. Barnaba, at the “Santa Cecilia” Diocesan School, at the “Da Cemmo” Hall of the Conservatory, and for the International Piano Festival of Brescia and Bergamo.
Particularly interested in the study of 20th-century and contemporary repertoire, in March 2024 he performed Dmitri Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No. 2 with the “Ginastera” Orchestra, conducted by Mihyang Lee, at the “Da Cemmo” Hall of the Brescia Conservatory.
He is a student of the Fondazione Accademia di Musica.
