Alessandro Artese
Biography

Alessandro Artese has given many concerts playing as soloist and with orchestra.
Previous and upcoming engagements include two recitals at Fryderyk Chopin’s Birthplace in Żelazowa Wola, the debut at the Teatro Auditorium Manzoni in Bologna, two performances of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4 op. 58 with the Orchestra Sinfonica del Molise conducted by Michele Campanella, and solo recitals in Bydgoszcz for the Paderewski Festival, in London and Wien.
He has won many international competitions, such as the Massarosa International Piano Competition (1st Prize, special prize and Medal of Chamber of Deputies, 2024), the Rosario Marciano International Piano Competition in Wien (Grand Prix and Paderewski Prize, 2024), and the Roma International Piano Competition (1st Prize and “National Fryderyk Chopin Institute” special prize, 2021).
Born in 2001, he started to play the piano at seven years old, studying from an early age with Valentina Berman. Graduated at the Conservatory “G. B. Martini” in Bologna with highest marks and honours under the guidance of Federico Nicoletta, he’s currently studying with Federico Nicoletta at the Conservatory “F. Venezze” in Rovigo.

He is a student of the Fondazione Accademia di Musica.
