Francescantonio Pollice is grateful to his parents for the values they taught him and instilled in him, and deeply grateful to the eminent figures who contributed to his development. Among them are Antonio Ballista, under whose guidance he graduated in piano from the Milan Conservatory; Antonino Albarosa, with whom he graduated in musicology in the University of Bologna; and Luigi Rognoni, Bonifacio Baroffio, Francesco Agnello, Gisella Belgeri, and Luigi Corbani, all important teachers in his professional and personal development. Committed for 40 years to the growth of A.M.A. Calabria, he served as musical consultant to the Ministry of the Interior and artistic director of the Ensemble 900 e Oltre, conducted by Antonio Ballista, and of the Orchestra della Provincia di Catanzaro, La Grecia. As part of his activities, he has developed EU-funded projects, television productions with RAI TV and Classica, recordings with Deutsche Grammophon, Decca, Brillant, Stradivarius, Naxos, Arcana/Outhere Music, Amadeus, Suonare News, and Wicky, and editorials with EdT, LIM, and Edizioni Curci. He has published essays and articles for major publishing houses and has spoken at national and international conferences. President of AIAM (Italian Association of Musical Activities), a member of AGIS, of which he is a member of the Presidential Office, he was one of the founders of FederVivo in 2016. After nearly 30 years of work with CIDIM (Italian National Music Committee), a member of the International Music Council NGO in partnership with UNESCO, he became its President in 2025. He is the artistic director of the International Suono Italiano project, implemented on all continents with funding from the MiC and MAECI and the Music in the Museums project in the Vatican Museums. He coordinates the Young Italian Musical Talents in the World project, produced in collaboration with the Accademia Musicale Chigiana and the International Academy Incontri con il Maestro in Imola. He is the director of the Vibo Valentia Conservatory of Music.
