The trio was formed in 2023 in the chamber music class of M° L. Messinis at the “B. Marcello” Conservatory in Venice. They have attended chamber music masterclasses with Masters Ivan Rabaglia and Oliver Kern.
Martina Cavalieri, piano In 2022, she graduated with top marks with a Bachelor degree in Piano from the “G. Nicolini” Conservatory in Piacenza, under the guidance of Maestro P. Del Giudice. She is currently attending the Master program in Piano at the “B. Marcello” Conservatory in Venice, under the guidance of Maestro Olaf John Laneri.
Since 2015, she has participated as an active student in various masterclasses with professors such as Nelson Delle Vigne Fabbri, Boaz Sharon, Michail Beroff, Antonio Galera Lopez, Marina Scalafiotti, Alessandro Marangoni, and others. In July 2018 and 2021, and in April 2019, she attended courses of the ICPA project organized by the “Fondazione Bell’Arte” in Paris and Brussels. In 2021, she won first prize at the “Musicarte” competition in the city of Ozegna.
She has performed as a soloist, in chamber music ensembles and orchestras in venues such as the Ridotto of the Teatro Regio in Parma, the Auditorium Paganini in Parma, the “Portoghesi” hall in Montecatini Terme (PT), the Foyer of the Teatro Nuovo in Mirandola (MO), the “Mozart” Hall in Bologna, the Sforza Castle in Vigevano (PV), the Farnese Palace in Piacenza, the Museo del ‘900 in Mestre (VE), the Santa Croce Auditorium in Treviso, the “Il Piccolo” Theater in Forlì (FC), the Catholic University of Milan, and others. As a cellist, she participated with the orchestra of Liceo Bertolucci in two productions for the “Regio Young” seasons in 2017 and 2018 at the Teatro Regio in Parma.
In parallel, she is pursuing a degree in Philosophy at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice and she is teaching piano at “Accademia Verdi” in Venice.
Mattia Pilotto, violin, was born in Conegliano in 2003. He began studying the violin at the San Fior Middle School with a music program under the guidance of Mº Roberto Fantinel and Mº Massimiliano Simonetto. He continued his studies at the Conegliano Music High School, studying with Mº Marco Domenichelli, while also participating in summer masterclasses with Mº Michele Lot. He is currently enrolled in the Bachelor’s program at the “Benedetto Marcello” Conservatory in Venice, studying under Mº Carlo Lazari.
His studies in solo performance and chamber music have been significantly enriched by masterclasses with renowned instructors such as Michele Lot, Oleksandr Semčuk, Dino Sossai, Giacobbe Stevanato, Giuseppe Gibboni, Ivan Rabaglia, Oliver Kern and Giovanni Sollima, with whom he has deepened his understanding of musicality and interpretation dynamics. The masterclass with Mº Giovanni Sollima was particularly inspiring and formative, allowing him to perform as a soloist at the Concert Hall of the Venice Conservatory.
He has participated in several competitions as a soloist, achieving second prize at the national music competition in Cittadella and second prize at the “premio Biasin” national competition (music high schools section) in Azzano Decimo. In chamber music formations, he won first prize with his trio at the national competition “Scuole in musica” in Verona.
Mattia regularly performs as an orchestral musician, often taking on the role of principal violin, as well as performing as a soloist. He is involved with various orchestras, including the Youth Orchestra of the Santa Cecilia Academy in Rome, the Regional Orchestra of the Music High Schools of Veneto, the Filarmonici Friulani Youth Orchestra, the Arrigoni Strings Academy, and the SIO Orchestra. Through these orchestras, he has had opportunities to record and perform across the country, including at the Auditorium Parco della Musica (Rome), Teatro Malibran (Venice), Teatro dal Verme (Milan), Teatro Olimpico (Vicenza), Fazioli Concert Hall (Sacile), Sala della Società Filarmonica (Trento), Teatro Nuovo Giovanni (Udine), …
Beatrice Bortolin, cello, began studying the cello using the Suzuki method with Anna Campagnaro, who founded the youth cello orchestra “Tiroconlarco,” directed by the teacher. With this orchestra, she participated in various competitions and concerts.
She later studied with Paolo Carraro until enrolling at the “Benedetto Marcello” Conservatory of Music in Venice. Initially, she studied with Stefano Cerrato and participated in his summer masterclasses in Portogruaro through the “Santa Cecilia” music association. Meanwhile, she also attended masterclasses with Mº Angelo Zanin.
In 2023, she performed at the inauguration of the academic year at Ca’ Foscari University at the “Teatro Malibran” in Venice with the orchestra of the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory, and she attended a chamber music masterclass with Mº Amiram Ganz at the conservatory. In April of the same year, she performed in the Sale Apollinee of the La Fenice Theater in Venice in collaboration with “Musikamera” with the cello ensemble from Mº Angelo Zanin’s class.
In January 2024, she attended a masterclass with Mº Giovanni Sollima at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory. In March 2024, she participated in a chamber music masterclass with Oliver Kern. In April 2024, she performed with Mario Brunello at the conservatory. In May 2024, she attended a chamber music masterclass with Mº Ivan Rabaglia and a cello masterclass with Mº Raffaele Franchini and Mº Christophe Coin. During the 2023/2024 academic year, she attended the annual chamber music perfection course at the Music School of Fiesole with Maestros Alexander Lonquich, Bruno Canino, Trio Gaspard, and Stefan Morris. She has also collaborated with the Centanin Foundation and the Veneto Symphony Orchestra.
She is currently enrolled at the “Benedetto Marcello” Conservatory under the guidance of Mº Angelo Zanin and collaborates with the orchestra “Le Risonanze” in the Treviso area.
