Ilaria Brognara
Biography

Ilaria Brognara was born in Mantova in 2000. She graduated with full marks, honors and academic mention at the Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto led by M° Massimiliano Ferrati, with whom she currently continues her master’s studies at the Conservatory of Verona.

She approached the piano at the age of 11 with M° Leonardo Zunica and she has participated in over 40 national and international music competitions, always placing herself among the top places.  Among the most important recognitions, she won the first prize and the first absolute prize at national and international piano competitions such as: Ischia, Piove di Sacco, Andrea Baldi in Bologna, Città di San Donà di Piave, Civica Scuola di Musica Claudio Abbado in Milan, Città di Venezia and Grand Prize Virtuoso International Competition of Salzburg.

She gives concerts as a soloist in important seasons such as Nei Suoni dei Luoghi in Udine, MantovaMusica, Eterotopie Piano Festival, Monferrato Classic Festival, Talenti in Corte and Concerti a Palazzo in Sacile, Pordenone Piano City, Missionemusica in Feltre and Cittadella di Padova, Summertime in Castelfranco Veneto and Associazione Sintonie in Terni.

She has performed in some halls and theaters of important Italian and foreign cities such as Teatro Ristori in Verona, Teatro Bibiena in Mantua, Teatro La Nuova Fenice in Osimo, Palazzo Cavagnis in Venice, Auditorium of the Palazzo della Gran Guardia in Verona, Palazzo Ragazzoni in Sacile, Sala dei Cavalli of Palazzo Te in Mantua, Kangasala-Talo (also as soloist with the orchestra) in Tampere (Finland) and the Mozarteum in Salzburg.

She has attended various masterclasses with renowned pianists including Dina Yoffe, Dmitri Aleexev, Andrea Lucchesini, Pietro De Maria, Jeffrey Swann, Lovro Pogorelich and Kostantin Bogino.
