Michele Ragone
Biography

Michele Ragone is a young pianist from Basilicata, who has graduated in Piano at the conservatory “E.R. Duni” of Matera, at the age of 18, under the guidance of the Maestro Vincenzo De Filpo.

He has specialized with very important pianists, such as Oleg Marshev, Bruno Canino, Tomislav Nedelkovic-Baynov, Francesco Libetta, Pierluigi Camicia, Pietro De Maria, Filippo Gamba, Gloria Campaner, Roberto Prosseda.

He has attended the Academy “Il Solista in Orchestra” of Montedinove (AP), under the guidance of the Maestro Maurizio Petrolo, where he has worked with former soloists of “Alla Scala” theatre, playing as soloist in the “Richard Strauss” Orchestra, in some theatres of the zone.

 He has played in various Italian cities, such as Perugia, Bari, Trani, Taranto, Matera, Lavello and numerous other cities.

 He has taken part and won numerous national and international competitions in Italy, such as Matera, Bari, Lecce, Barletta, Guastalla (RE), Salerno, Corato (BA), Castellana Grotte (BA), Lavello (PZ), Castellammare di Stabia (NA) and many others. In Lavello he has won the award “Premio Speciale Nico Di Cosmo”.
