Biography

Ismaele Bauccio was born in 1996 in Caltagirone, a town in the province of Catania famous for its beautiful ceramics. During primary school he approaches the study of piano, thanks to an antique piano with ivory keys. Between Caltagirone and Catania he continues his studies until 2014, when, still during the last year of high school, he chooses to move to Genoa to attend the bachelor at the Conservatory Niccoló Paganini, in the class of the teacher Anna Maria Bordin.
During these years, he had the opportunity to collaborate with numerous instrument classes as an accompanist pianist (flute, violin, double bass and bassoon) and to experiment with the chamber music repertoire. At the Conservatory he also had the opportunity to cultivate his vocal skills as a baritone and was admitted to the Opera Singing class of the teacher Gloria Scalchi; his vocal experiences were also enriched by his participation in the Vox Antiqua choir, directed by Maestro Marco Bettuzzi, with whom he practiced sixteenth-century vocal polyphony, also performing in the company of the Monte Cauriol choir.
From the piano point of view, the training is supported by Masterclasses with well-known pianists such as Roland Proll and Philip Martin, and by several public performances; he has, in fact, played several times during the concert seasons “Concerti Privati” for the Cultural Association Giuseppe Benassi of Pavia and in the concert “Le sensibilità ritrovate” in the Auditorium of Palazzo Rosso in March 2017.  In autumn 2017 he had the honor of playing outdoors in Via Garibaldi, during the “GenovaInBlu” festival during the 57th Boat Show, and in the Auditorium of the Conte Music School in Pegli.
In October 2017 he concluded the three-year course by obtaining the Academic Diploma of First Level with a vote of 110/110, presenting a thesis entitled “Evolution of creative freedom through the form of Fantasy. Subsequently, he attended a master Piano at the Conservatory Niccoló Paganini, in the class of M. Bordin, also acquiring credits in teaching subjects.
